Shooting Events
Club Shoot – 50 yards – This is a general event in which participants may shoot handguns, modern rifles up to .30 caliber, shotguns and black powder firearms. Range Officers have the knowledge and some tools to assist participant.
Club Rifle – Out to 300 yards – Modern cartridges up to .30 caliber (no Black powder or Magnum). This event affords participants to zero their rifle, test out the operation of their rifle and attendant equipment. Range Officers have the knowledge and some tools to assist participant.
Practical Rifle – Out to 300 Yards – Modern cartridges up to .30 caliber (no Black powder or Magnum). This event is for the experienced shooter who possesses a zeroed rifle and has complete knowledge of their attendant equipment. Participants should have the physical capability to quickly jog over 200 yards of uneven terrain.
Weaponcraft – is a group of active and former law enforcement, military and related government agency personnel who were or are directly involved in offensive and defensive firearms usage and training. Its purpose is to develop and test new techniques in the handling and implementation of handguns, shotguns and carbines, validate selected techniques and pass that knowledge on to others. Participants are vetted for their training and experience prior to invitation to the group.
