Becoming an AGC Range Badge Holder
AGC currently uses a three-step process:
- Join an AGC-associated club. Current MRPC membership satisfies this requirement.
- Complete an AGC Range Orientation.
- Purchase an AGC Range Badge.
The standard 2026 individual AGC Range Badge is currently $275. Prices and badge options may change, so verify the current cost directly with AGC.
Guests — Two Different Situations
Normal Guest of an AGC Badge Holder
AGC currently charges $20 per guest per day. A badge holder’s spouse and minors are currently free. The badge holder is responsible for supervising guests during the visit.
Non-AGC Member at an MRPC Club Event
This is a different category. A non-AGC member participating in an MRPC-sponsored AGC event currently pays the $5 waiver-required club-event guest fee to the MRPC RSO and follows the MRPC event-registration procedure.
General Ammunition Guidance
AGC allows a wide variety of firearms and ammunition depending on the specific range. Tracer, incendiary and explosive ammunition are prohibited.
Individual ranges have additional restrictions on firearms, ammunition, targets and shooting procedures.
Always verify the current rules.
AGC rules and procedures may change. Official AGC rules and instructions from the on-duty Range Safety Officer take precedence over information published on the MRPC website.
