Club Pistol is an informal, unscripted MRPC activity conducted on the Meade pistol ranges. Rather than following a fixed course of fire, the activity is built around the needs and interests of the shooters attending that day.
What to Expect
- Testing ammunition and firearm reliability
- Practicing at different distances
- Working with different target types
- Improving firearm and equipment familiarity
- Developing safe shooting habits
- Receiving help from experienced Range Officers and instructors
Who Is Club Pistol For?
Club Pistol welcomes experienced shooters as well as members who are still developing their handgun skills.
Club Pistol provides an opportunity to practice in a supervised environment while learning from experienced club members.
Where We Shoot
Club Pistol activities are normally conducted on the appropriate Meade pistol ranges depending on range availability and the scheduled activity.
Anyone wishing to shoot at the Meade Ranges must first complete the required MRPC Range Orientation and Range Safety Briefing.
Range assignments, ammunition requirements and authorized activities can change. Always check the current event information and follow the instructions of the assigned Range Safety Officer and Meade Range Control.
