Weapon Craft

MRPC Weapon Craft

Advanced professional firearms development for qualified participants.

Weapon Craft is a specialized MRPC group composed of active and former law enforcement, military and related government-agency personnel with relevant professional firearms training or operational experience.

Purpose

The program provides an environment for experienced personnel to develop, evaluate and refine techniques involving handguns, shotguns and carbines and to share validated knowledge with other qualified participants.

Participation

Participation is by invitation following review of relevant training and experience.

Participants are vetted for appropriate professional training and experience before invitation to the group.

What Weapon Craft Is Not

Weapon Craft is not a combat shooting competition or a substitute for organized shooting sports such as IDPA, IPSC or similar competitive disciplines.

Participation in competitive shooting activities by itself does not constitute qualification or invitation to Weapon Craft.

Range Requirements

Weapon Craft activities are conducted under the authority of the assigned Range Safety Officer and within the limitations of the assigned range.

Current range rules always apply.

Range assignments, ammunition requirements and permitted activities may change. Participants must follow the instructions of the assigned MRPC Range Safety Officer and Meade Range Control.
