Club Rifle is an informal, unscripted MRPC activity normally conducted on Meade Rifle Ranges 1 or 9. Each session is built around the needs of the shooters attending that day.

- Sighting-in and confirming rifle zero
- Testing ammunition
- Testing optics and other equipment
- Practicing different shooting positions
- Shooting at varying distances
- Learning hold-over and hold-under
- Improving familiarity with your rifle and equipment
Who Is Club Rifle For?
Club Rifle welcomes experienced shooters as well as members who are new to rifle shooting or want to improve their existing skills.
If you’ve purchased a new rifle, changed optics or ammunition, need to confirm your zero, or simply want help becoming more comfortable with your equipment, Club Rifle provides a supervised place to work with experienced shooters and Range Officers.
Range Distances
Depending on the assigned range and scheduled activity, MRPC rifle shooters may have access to distances from 100 yards through the longer-distance firing points available on Meade Range 1.
Anyone wishing to shoot at the Meade Ranges must complete the required MRPC Range Orientation and Range Safety Briefing.
Range assignments, firearm restrictions and ammunition requirements may change. Always follow current instructions from the assigned Range Safety Officer and Meade Range Control.
